The 2026 Spring Duel is a three round Malifaux 4E tournament, which will be held at the Carcosa Club on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The event will have a maximum of 12 players. Unless otherwise stated, the tournament will follow all of the standard rules described in the official Gaining Grounds Document for Fourth Edition:

The Spring Duel is Fixed Faction (i.e., you must declare a faction before the tournament and play only that factions’ keywords). The tournament will use Swiss Pairing. We will use the Longshanks website to track results and generate pairings for each round. After you purchase a ticket, please register on Longshanks at this link:

Each round will afford players 15 minutes for setup, and 150 minutes to play.

Chess clocks are mandatory unless both players agree not to use one. Chess clocks will be set to 70 minutes per player, and players will pause the clock during shared time between Turns (but players should complete each instance of shared time between Turns within five minutes). Do not pause the clock without the TO’s permission, except for between Turns. Rounds will end immediately at the scheduled time (unless, in the TO’s discretion, allowing the players to finish out the game won’t disrupt the tournament schedule).
