The 2025 Autumn Duel is a three round Malifaux tournament, which will be held at the Carcosa Club on Saturday, November 8, 2025. We will use Fourth Edition rules and the latest version of Gaining Grounds. The event will have a maximum of 16 players.
The tournament will use Swiss Pairing. We will use the Longshanks website to track results and generate pairings for each round.
After you purchase a ticket, please register on Longshanks at this link:
Each round will afford players 15 minutes for setup, and then 150 minutes to play. Chess clocks are encouraged, and mandatory if either player requests to use one. Chess clocks will be set to 70 minutes per player, and players will pause the clock between Turns. Once you run out of time, you cannot activate models, cheat fate, empower duels, spend soulstones, or use optional reactive or defensive abilities. However, even after running out of time, you may still score VP and win or draw the match.

Etiquette -Be nice and respectful to each other. The organizers reserve the right to ask you to leave if you’re being a jerk. If you encounter a problem with another player, please notify an organizer and we’ll address it. -Be gentle with terrain, your opponent’s minis, battlemats, etc. -Treat the space well. If you eat a snack during a game, grab a red tray from the kitchen and put your food on top of it. The club has cup holders you can hook onto the sides of tables to hold beverages and prevent disastrous spills. Don’t leave food out and clean up after yourself. -Don’t cheat. -It’s of course fine to chat about the game, about what models you own, about what crews you’re planning to try out, etc. But don’t try to glean information about your opponent’s crew before a game just to counter-pick them.
Odd Man Out In case of an odd number of attendees, we will have a player ready to serve as the “odd man out.” The results of the odd man out’s matches will count, but the odd man out will be ignored in the final event standings.
